West Berkshire Council’s contractor Volker Highways Ltd will be undertaking essential carriageway surface dressing at Straight Lane from Newbury Road to Ermin Street between 19th-20th June 2026.
Works will be undertaken with a road closure; no on street parking will be permitted within the works and at times access to properties and businesses will be restricted or delayed as the works pass.
Working hours are 07.00 – 19.00
Blue light access will be maintained.
Start/end date and duration of works may change if conditions are too hot, wet or cold, residents should look at the information board on site for revised dates.
