Lambourn Parish Council covers the the villages of Lambourn, Upper Lambourn, Eastbury, Woodlands St Mary and Lambourn Woodlands.

Funding for the Parish Council is submitted to West Berkshire Council the amount requested is then added to the area’s council tax bill – this is called an annual precept.

We provide a number of services to you:
Lambourn Memorial Hall
We own and operate the Memorial hall located on Oxford street. The hall is available for the community to hire.
Cemetery and burials
We own and manage the Upper Lambourn cemetery. Please use the link above to find out more details and how to reserve a plot.
Grants
We give a limited number of grants to local voluntary organisations.
Lambourn Weekly Market
A regular market is held every Friday. The responsibility for the operation of the market is in the safe hands of Gary, the Market Toby.
Litter Cleaning
We employ a litter picker as well as providing litter bins and dog waste bins.
Public Convenience
We own and maintain the public toilet located at the Memorial Hall, Oxford Street, Lambourn
CCTV
We operate the CCTV security monitoring in Lambourn.
Streetlighting
We are responsible for a proportion of the streetlighting in Lambourn.
Planning
We review and comment on all planning applications which relate to our parish. West Berkshire Council makes the ultimate decision.
