We’re pleased to share that our local play areas have recently benefited from a low grade maintenance programme to get them ready for the summer, this was planned and budgeted for completion this year.

Equipment at Mill Lane and Eastbury Furze have all been cleaned, repaired and touched up where necessary in a programme focused on ensuring the safety and enjoyment of the facilities for local children. These improvements will help keep our play spaces safe and fun for everyone to enjoy.

Huge congratulations to our Deputy Clerk, Rachael Burns, for achieving the Register of Play Inspectors International (RPII) exam. Rachael is now qualified to undertake operational inspections of the children’s playgrounds. Rachael’s hard work will help ensure that when undertaking the weekly checks, our play areas will meet the highest safety standards.
