Under the leadership of Sue Cocker, the Lambourn Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group guided the development of the Lambourn Neighbourhood Development Plan with dedication and professionalism. Formed by Lambourn Parish Council, the group brought together councillors and local volunteers who shared a commitment to preserving the parish’s unique character while planning for a sustainable future. The Steering Group’s work reflected a strong landscape-led approach, recognising Lambourn’s heritage, environment and vital racehorse training industry. Through Sue’s direction and the group’s collective effort, the community produced a robust and forward-looking plan that balances conservation with thoughtful development and gives residents a clear voice in shaping Lambourn’s future to 2041.
