West Berkshire Council is looking for an enthusiastic driver with good communication skills, basic computer knowledge and a friendly positive attitude.
Your roles will include driving a minibus bus across the district, providing vital links for residents in rural areas to essential services. You will also transport vulnerable adults and children as part of the Transport Services team.
We are looking for someone to work full-time, 42 hours per week, this will include one Saturday every 6 weeks. Overtime may also be available.
You need to have a full driving licence (with no more than 6 points), which must include category D1 to drive minibuses, but a category D would be desirable but not essential.
You will start on £10.60 an hour. You will also be eligible for the Local Government Pension scheme and 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
