The quarter pipe closest to the car park at the old cricket field has had several screws removed and pieces of wood jammed under the panel in an act of vandalism. This means the metal strip panel is no longer flush to the ramp. An engineer is being arranged to replace/tighten screws where required but in the meantime the ramp should not be used.

This is one of several incidents of vandalism involving the loosening or removal of screws and we would ask users of the skatepark to be vigilant.

We have to use a specialist playground repair company, the cost to repair the damage is £150 exc VAT.
