Newbury Road – East Garston, will be closed on the 3rd to 16th April 2023, between its junction with Humphreys Lane and its junction with Front Street.
Vehicular access to the Queens Arms will be from Lambourn direction, as the works progress, vehicular parking will be located in the pub’s overflow car park, with pedestrian access available at all times, any changes to this will be signed on site.
An alternative route is via – Road known as Hungerford Hill (A338), Ermin St (B4000), Hungerford Hill (B4000) and vice versa.
The purpose of this closure is for a new Sewer main to be installed within the highway.
Residential access will be maintained throughout and the diversion will be signed on site.
Please Note: Blue light access will be via the diversion route only.
