Lambourn Parish Council are addressing the long-term drainage issues at the Skatepark with works to install a combined French drain/soakaway.
This will be filled with drainage stone and lined with a geotextile permeable membrane. The improved drainage will cope with larger volumes of water underground, reducing puddling on the surface and also triple the speed of water soaking away in torrential conditions.
The Skatepark will be fenced off from Wednesday 27th July until Tuesday 2nd August to allow these works to take place.
In addition to the above the planned refurbishment of the shelter has now been completed.
