West Berkshire Council will once again be offering Free Bus Travel on public buses across the district on Saturdays in the run up to Christmas. It will start on Saturday 19 November 2022 and will be offered on every Saturday up the 24 December 2022 (Christmas Eve). It follows on from successful free travel days in the run up to last Christmas.
To compliment this they will also be offering a Free pre-bookable “Christmas Shopper” service on the same six Saturdays available for areas in West Berkshire that are not served by a public bus service. This service would pick up bookers from an agreed location, take them to a location within West Berkshire and offer a return journey. See poster below for details.
