Every three years the Parish Council is required to undertake a tree safety Survey, the most recent survey was completed in October 2023 and due to the significant amount of Ash and Elm at the Old Cricket Field there are 21 trees to be felled many of which are in the area running alongside the horse track.
These works will begin on Monday 22nd April and it is necessary to close the horse track for entirety of Monday 22nd -Thursday 25th April. The actual working hours will be 8am-4pm so riders using the road should expect to hear heavy machinery close by during those times.
Public access to the Field and Car Park will be unaffected.
