WEST BERKSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL (FOOTPATH LAMB/8/1, LAMBOURN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2022

West Berkshire District Council has made an Order in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any use of the following footpaths, namely Footpath LAMB/8/1 between its junction with Byway Open to All Traffic LAMB/48/4 and its junction with Footpath LAMB/11/2.

The alternative route is via – Byway Open to All Traffic LAMB/48/4, Bridleway LAMB/49/2,
Footpath LAMB/11/1 and vice versa.

The purpose of this Order is to enable works to take place on or near the highway, namely for
contractors to lay a new rising sewer main.

The proposed Order will come into effect on 17th October 2022 it is envisaged that the closure will be in place between 6th and 21st February 2023 The Order shall remain in force for a period of six months or until the works are complete, whichever is the soonest.

The Order shall not take effect until signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 have been erected.
