Due to problems with works on a related closure, which in turn is absorbing resources, the current closure of the Footpath (below) will be extended until the 17th April 2023.
However the footpath will be re-opened for the duration of the Easter holidays (7th April) and closed again on the Tuesday 11th .
Footpath Lamb 8-1 in the Parish of Lambourn, will be closed between its junction with Byway Open to All Traffic LAMB/48/4 and its junction with Footpath LAMB/11/2. – see attached notice
An alternative route is via Byway Open to All Traffic LAMB/48/4, Bridleway LAMB/49/2, Footpath LAMB/11/1 and vice versa.
The purpose of this closure is for works to take place on or near the highway, namely for contractors to lay a new rising sewer main.
Residential access will be maintained throughout and the diversion will be signed on site.
